“Double Vision” Layered Silk Batik Paintings
These compelling, inspirational art pieces incorporate two silk painting images, one stretched over the other, thus the name “Double Vision”. The top image is drawn in wax on sheer silk, stretched and raised slightly above the silk painting on the bottom layer. Rich in color, these small works express the spiritual meaning of yoga postures. Tiny crystals are added to compliment each piece. Double matted and framed in a simple, narrow profile, black metal frame. These pieces can hang on the wall or be displayed on a tabletop easel. Perfect intimate pieces for reflection. Reminding us the importance of finding the beautiful, quiet moments in our lives.
